Still Waters Run Deep
SWRD is Still Waters Run Deep, a post-rock band from Lyon, France. The band formed at the end of 2022, when five musicians found themselves pulling in the same direction: slower, quieter, heavier.
The music is built from weaving melodic lines rather than riffs — textures that borrow as much from classical, metal, electronic, and ambient music as from post-rock.
After a first run of live shows, the band is now finishing its debut album, due in 2026.
